Contract-It-Yourself
Two Day Workshop
This is a two-day intensive workshop designed to make attendees comfortable with the construction process, design process, and project management from human relations to contracts. The theme is how to work a la carte with Designers, Contractors and Carpenters to create a house within your budget that reflects your major concerns: energy, environment long and short term, site sense, codes/covenants and regulations, legal and insurance, time line, personal priorities. We’ve designed a series of workshops and lectures to ensure that you are prepared to weigh the pros and cons of the myriad of decisions involved with a building project.
